Teaching horses and people to work together

We offer a variety of group and individual workshops.  

Horse training. If you have a young horse who has never had a bit, or a green broke horse who needs some direction, we can train your horse.  Our approach is rooted in natural horsemanship and built on clear consistent signals.  

Teamster training. Individualized in-depth training for harnessing, hitching, driving and horsemanship.  We offer courses for all skill levels.

Restorative Forestry. Learn the practice and philosophy of horse-powered restorative forestry.  An in depth introduction to the skills and knowledge needed to safely apply the principles of restorative forestry.  Whether you are a landowner who wants to improve your forest, or you want to become a practitioner yourself- this course is for you.

Other Services

Custom Farm work. If you live in Floyd county, and need your farm or garden plowed or cultivated, we can bring our horses over to do the job.  A low-impact alternative to tractor-worked land.  Also makes for a fun community event.
